Cookie Policy

This is a placeholder cookie policy. BZ Solar Solutions will publish the final legal version reviewed by counsel before full public launch.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, which can make your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.

2. What We Use (Minimal)

  • Session storage (bz_session_id): A random anonymous ID generated when you open the site. Used so our analytics can tie your estimator activity to your session without identifying you personally. Cleared when you close the browser tab.
  • Session storage (bz_mar_session_id): A random anonymous ID for your chat with Mar, our AI assistant. It lets your conversation continue if you refresh the page, instead of starting over, and it is what connects you to a real team member if you ask to speak with one. Cleared when you close the browser tab.
  • Functional cookies from our hosting provider (Vercel): Needed for load balancing and security. No tracking purpose.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads: The Google tag starts with analytics and advertising storage denied. If you click Accept, it may use cookies to help us understand site traffic, attribute visits from ads, and measure advertising results.

3. What We Do NOT Use

  • Google analytics or advertising storage before you accept
  • Social-media tracking pixels
  • Social-media sharing trackers
  • Sale of your contact details to third parties

4. Managing Cookies

You can disable or delete cookies at any time using your browser settings. Disabling session storage may cause the estimator to prompt you each time you download a PDF in the same session. Declining the cookie banner keeps Google Analytics and Google Ads storage denied. The Google tag may send a limited, cookieless measurement with that denied consent signal.
